Founded by Jack Reynertson in 2018, the Interlude Orchestra is a program for high school and college-aged orchestral musicians who wish to engage in a large ensemble experience during the summer months.
During the summer of 2020, the Interlude Chamber Orchestra will continue its collaborative approach to questioning and "moving deeper" as it explores powerful music in its 3rd season.
The orchestra intends to rehearse and perform this summer. The start date of May 31st is dependent on the state of Illinoi's termination of the stay at home order. The orchestra will practice social distancing as advised by the State when the order is lifted.
